REMINDER: ALL LUNCHEON TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY MARCH 30TH.

Options for non-registered families

We have received countless e-mails from families wanting to come to Kazapalooza. Unfortunately, registration is closed and we are unable to accomodate more people for the entire event. If you would like the reasons for this please see earlier posts. Having said this, we want to include as many families as we can and if you live near Chicago or want to come to Chicago, any family is more then welcome to come to the luncheon and the Aqarium on Saturday June 14th. We will have more information about the Aqarium closer to the time. The luncheon tickets may be purchased by clicking on the Paypal link on the sidebar. The price is $26.75 per person over 6. Children from 2-6 are $5 which can be paid at the door. If you mail me a check then the price is $25 per person. The luncheon is at Grace O'Malleys which is in the South Loop. The price includes a buffet lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment. We will have entertainers for the kids. We will also have a raffle and all sorts of things going on for the adults. Kazapalooza Luncheon 6/14/08

First off PLEASE read the post below.

We are now taking payments for the Luncheon on Saturday, June 14th. We will take over the entire top floor at Grace O'Malley's Pub which is located a few blocks away from the hotel. The price is $25 (plus $1.75 Paypal fee) for adults and children over 6. Children between the ages of 2-6 are $5 which can be paid at the door and children under 2 are free. If you do not want to use Paypal please e-mail me for my address.
This price includes a buffet lunch and drinks (non-alcoholic) along with some great entertainment for the kids. This is the main event of our weekend so please plan on attending. There will be a cash bar available for alcoholic beverages. You MUST pre-pay for this event prior to March 30th except children under 6 which we will collect the $5 at the door. Additionally, those who live in the area and want to come to this event are welcome. Please click on the Paypal link to the right and pay for all people in your party over 6 years old. In the comments section whne you are in Paypal, please indicate the number of children below 6 and their ages that will be attending.

In addition to eating at this event, we will be having the raffle, speakers and the slideshow of our precious children.

The Aqarium is optional. Only those wanting to get the discounted rate will have to pay ahead of time. Others who want to wait can pay at the door.
Pool party is free
Sunday's playdate is free

PLEASE make an effort to be at the luncheon. We CAN'T make any exceptions and must have all reservations by March 30th. I take that back, the only exception we can make is again to those who are in process and may be traveling. Please e-mail me if you think this applies to your family and we will work it out.


Again you must pay for all people in your party over the age of 6 by March 30th either by the Paypal link on the right or by mailing me a check.

Just a reminder

1. If you have not filled out the reservation form for your family please do so. It is in the previous post.

2. HOTEL RESERVATIONS! Reservations will be accepted until May 9th. To Reserve a room you must call 800-621-6909 and ask for the Kazapalooza block. The rates are as follows:

-booked and pre-paid by March 16th, $159 single/double, $169 triple. THIS RATE IS NON-REFUNDABLE!

-booked and pre-paid by May 9th, $169 single/double, $179 triple, $189 quad. (please note children are not counted as occupents so when making a reservation only state the adults staying in your room. YOU MUST CANCEL 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO GET A REFUND!

ROLL-A-WAY-$20 per bed, per night charge. I would bring a pack and play and/or air mattress if needed. You can ask for a crib when you book your room but those are first come, first serve.

As far as getting to the hotel, you can take the train from O'Hare or a cab. You can look online for prices and schedules.

3. e-mail Michelle 5 pictures of your children for our slide show. Her e-mail is speduc8er@aol.com. If you want to give her permission to take them off your blog please leave a comment.

4. Raffle items. We have some great stuff but are still looking for more. Please leave a comment if you have not already, regarding what your faily would be willing to contribute to the raffle.
