The date is set! June 5-7 it is!

First, please note on the sidebar that you can now sign up to receive new Kazapalooza posts to your email. Sign up today!

The poll is closed. Thank you all for voting. The dates for Kazapalooza 2009 will be June 5-7, 2009. We are so excited about next year even though it is early. We have already begun major planning. We are in talks right now with Gaylord Opryland Hotel to host our event. It is a beautiful hotel with everything we could possibly want or need right at our fingertips. Take a minute to check out the pictures below and their website. I am anticipating the room costs to be less than this past year but that could change. We have not signed a contract yet but are working on it. They do have space available for our weekend and I have already met with them to take a tour. I was blown away! We will let you know as soon as the reservation info is available and the contract is signed.

Although the facility is huge, I believe we can have most of our rooms located together and hopefully near the pool too! We are wanting a meeting room for the whole weekend as well so that we can all have a place to meet up. We are planning a BBQ, a brunch, and time for people to get together with their regional friends. We have taken your suggestions to heart and are trying to accommodate as many suggestions as we can. Thanks for the input!

There are many restaurants and activities right in the hotel. They have 24 hour room service, a nightclub, a spa, an indoor river and nine acres of indoor atriums with bridges and walkways. I hope you all are as excited about next year as I am. It's going to be a blast!!!

WSM 650 is a famous country radio station that is located inside the hotel.
This is the second outdoor pool. We hope to have the pool party here.
This is inside the Delta atrium. It is a river that wraps around a small village of shops and restaurants. There is even a boat that you can ride.
More of the Delta shops.
The boat takes you along here.

This is a king room. They have rooms with one king or two queens. We are also trying to get a few suites.
An arcade is also in the hotel for the older kids.

There's also a great mall, Opry Mills, within walking distance....actually, it is so close that it's almost connected to the hotel. It has lots of shops, glow golf, rock climbing, and Sting Ray Reef where you can pet sting rays and look at lots of fish. And...for all you country music fans...the Grand Ole Orpy is right next to the hotel.

As a native Nashvillian I am thrilled it will be here. As a waiting parent, I am praying to be there with a baby. The opryland complex also has riverboat tours, and there is usually a special summerfest with weekend concerts and special entertainment. It will be a blast for sure!
